Amsterdam Tournament

is an annual a pre-football tournam ent, hosted by Ajax. It is organized by the International Event P artnership (IEP). Amsterdam Tournament is the successor to Amster dam 700 Tournament, which was first played in 1975 to commemorate the seventh city of Amsterdam. It was played annually until 1992. The next edition, already under a new name and patronage of the IEP plays was in 1999. The tournament always starts four teams, including the host, or Ajax.
